Senior Analyst – SAP HCM Functional Specialist

Analyze, plan, design and implement SAP HCM solutions to meet strategic, usability, performance, and  reliability, control, and security requirements to enable Talent business processes. Requires a high level of skills in  supporting core HR applications.

Prerequisites for the role:

  • SAP HCM experience with deep knowledge in HR business areas including (not limited to) Personnel Administration, Management, Organizational, Benefits (US).
  • Knowledge on US Payroll, Time, Recruitment, Compensation Management, Training & Event Management, Personnel Development And Time and Payroll related HR components is preferable but not mandatory.
  • Should be able to do HCM Configuration on Customized Personal Actions, Enterprise structure and Personnel Structures based on client requirement
  • Expertise in O.M, P.A, and Time Management.
  • Should be able to Configure work schedules like DWS, Break, PWS and WS Rules.
  • Experience in configuring Paid/Unpaid absences Quotas, counting and deduction rules as per the requirement.
  • Business knowledge in various HCM processes and proficiency in SAP configuration aspects.
  • Should be able to independently work with the customers
  • Must be able to develop, write and communicate technical/functional requirements and design documents
  • Evaluate existing client configuration against SAP best practices and industry standards
  • GAP analysis for HR business areas.
  • Knowledge of data migration and interface to third party vendors, Adhoc query, SAP reporting etc.
  • Knowledge of writing functional specifications
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and multitasking skills, as well as communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to express complex business concepts in simple and non technical terms.
  • Hands-on Experience – SAP HCM configuration
  • Should have prior experience in Infotype data validation.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for delivering SAP HCM solutions to support LMTEQ US Member Firm. Other responsibilities include designing and deploying custom products and reporting.
  • Support the LMTEQ Core HR Applications
  • Work with the team to analyze, plan, design, develop, and implement solutions to meet strategic, performance, usability, reliability, security and control requirements.
  • Support and coordinate the efforts of SMES, Development, Usability, Training, Transport Management, Quality Assurance and other internal resources for successful implementation of system enhancements and fixes
  • Should be able to do HCM Configuration based on client requirements for OM, PA, and Time modules.
  • Basic understanding in Data migration and Data mapping using LSMW
  • Support SAP HR reporting requirements / Interface management / Applications support of LMTEQ as required
  • Support Core SAP HR operations on a daily basis and provide timely and consistent resolution of third-level support activities
  • Create and maintain end-user training materials and internal documentation as needed.
  • Work closely with a learning group to provide input into training materials
  • Provide input to standards and guidelines and implement best practices to enable consistency across all projects
  • Engage in continuous improvement processes as assigned.
  • Validate the Master data loaded in cut-over cycles.
