Job Summary :-

IT Administrator is responsible for maintaining and managing the IT infrastructure of the organization.
The job involves ensuring the availability and reliability of servers, network devices, Assets, and applications that support the company’s operations. The System Administrator also works with other IT staff and end-users to troubleshoot issues, maintain data security, and provide technical support.

Roles and Responsibilities :-

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT issues via the ITSM tool, email, chat, and phone, ensuring all interactions are logged as tickets.
  • Triage, prioritize, and resolve tickets (password resets, access issues, and troubleshooting).
  • Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, and peripherals (printers, monitors, CCTV cameras, fingerprint scanners) for new and existing employees.
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding in coordination with HR, including user lifecycle management in o365 and Zoho: account creation/disablement, group memberships, license allocation, and access to shared resources.
  • Administer Microsoft suite, including user management, organizational units, and enforcing basic security configurations.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions in core systems (SSO, VPN, collaboration tools, ITSM tools, internal applications) following least-privilege principles.
  • Maintain and regularly update IT asset inventory (laptops, licenses—including o365 and zoho seats—and accessories), including tagging, allocation tracking, and returns.
  • Perform routine health checks, including disk space, antivirus status, OS patch levels, backup status, Wi‑Fi health, and network connectivity.
  • Support small IT and automation projects such as improving ITSM workflows, onboarding templates (including o365 and Zoho steps), email groups, and basic scripts under guidance from senior staff.
  • Contribute to and update IT documentation (how-to guides, SOPs, FAQs) to reduce repeated queries and enable self-service.
  • Help manage and troubleshoot issues on on‑premise and hosted servers by following change procedures, coordinating maintenance windows, and documenting changes in the ITSM tool.

Qualification :-

  • Diploma/ Graduate in IT administration/ computer science/ hardware
  • Familiarity with administering O365 (user and group management, basic security settings, Drive/Shared drives, Meet, and Calendar troubleshooting)
  • Exposure to HR or people systems such as Zoho or similar HRIS/HRMS tools, especially for user provisioning and access management
