Overview :
We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Platform Developer to design, develop, and maintain custom applications on the ServiceNow platform, utilizing low-code development techniques. This role involves collaboration with business stakeholders to create tailored solutions and seamless integrations, supporting IT service management and business processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Custom Application Development and Catalog Management:
- Design and build custom applications using ServiceNow’s App Engine Studio and Catalog Builder.
- Develop and enhance catalog items within the Service Catalog to support ITSM and various business workflows.
- Platform Configuration and Integration:
- Configure ServiceNow modules, workflows, forms, and integrations to support custom applications.
- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems and applications using REST and SOAP APIs, extending platform functionality using JavaScript, Glide API, and other relevant technologies.
- Testing, Troubleshooting, and Documentation:
- Perform thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure quality and reliability of custom applications and integrations.
- Document technical designs, processes, and procedures to support development and integration activities.
- Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Identify improvement opportunities and leverage automation to enhance ServiceNow’s efficiency and functionality.
Basic Qualifications :
- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Engineering, MCA, or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, with proven skills in automation or data engineering.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in ServiceNow Catalog Builder, App Engine Studio, ITSM/CMDB functionalities, and scripting languages such as JavaScript, SQL, and Python. Proficiency in REST and SOAP API integration.
- Framework Knowledge: Strong understanding of ITIL/ITSM frameworks and terminology, with experience in Agile methodologies such as SAFE Agile and Kanban.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and SCM technologies (e.g., GitHub).
- Familiarity with data querying and transformation languages (e.g., SQL, Power BI DAX, SAS).
- Knowledge of operational, enterprise, and analytical relational/non-relational data stores (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, AWS).
