Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Scientist to join our innovative team and leverage cutting- edge Generative AI (Gen AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs) on the Microsoft Azure platform. In this role, the ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying data pipelines and Gen AI/LLM models to unlock valuable insights and drive business transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implementrobust data pipelines on Azure for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and delivery to Gen AI/LLM models.
  • Develop and train Gen AI/LLM models using Azure Machine Learning services like Azure Databricks and Azure ML.
  • Utilize expertise in prompt engineering to fine-tune LLMs for specific tasks and applications.
  • Evaluate and monitor the performance of Gen AI/LLM models, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Collaborate with data engineers,software developers, and business stakeholders to ensure models align with business needs.
  • Stay current on the latest advancements in Gen AI/LLM research and development.
  • Document and present findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non- technical audiences.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist or similar role.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing data pipelines on cloud platforms (Azure).
  • In-depth knowledge of machine learning fundamentals and experience with deep learning frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of Generative AI concepts and experience with Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python and familiarity with tools like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Azure Machine Learning services (Azure Databricks, Azure ML,AzureData factory, Azure webapp services, Azure AI services).
  • Experience with cloud-based data storage solutions (Azure Data Lake Storage,Blob storage, Azure SQL).
  • Experience with natural language processing (NLP) techniques.
  • Experience with model interpretability and fairness considerations.
  • Experience in deploying models into production environments
