Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Create, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules, particularly within ITSM/ ITOM/Asset Management.
  • Customization: Develop custom scripts, workflows, and integrations using JavaScript, HTML, Angular, and other relevant languages.
  • Configuration Management: Manage ServiceNow configurations, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and ACLs.
  • Integration: Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST, SOAP, JDBC, and other technologies.
  • Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow configuration and integration.
  • Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Participate in design and code reviews.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of all technical work for knowledge transfer and compliance purposes.
  • Project Management: Handle project-related activities and ensure timely delivery of solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in ServiceNow development. Experience with ITSM/ITOM/Asset Management modules is essential.
  • Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and AngularJS. Strong understanding of ITOM applications such as Service Mapping, Event Management, and Operational Intelligence.
  • Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required. Additional certifications like ServiceNow Implementation Specialist are preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with web services, network protocols, and security practices. Ability to write complex SQL statements.
  • Methodology: Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Skills: Experience with ServiceNow ITOM applications, such as Cloud Orchestration and Service Mapping.
  • Integration Expertise: Proven ability to integrate ServiceNow with external systems like Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, and Jira.
  • Development Best Practices: In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow development best practices and the ability to mentor junior developers.
