ServiceNow SAM/HAM Developer

Responsibilities:

Design and Development: Develop and maintain ServiceNow SAM (Software Asset Management) or HAM (Hardware Asset Management) applications.
Customization: Create custom scripts, workflows, and integrations using JavaScript and other relevant languages.
Implementation: Implement and configure SAM or HAM modules.
Integration: Integrate ServiceNow with external systems via REST, SOAP, JDBC, and other technologies.
Asset Tracking: Track and manage the lifecycle of hardware and software assets.
Reporting: Develop reports and dashboards to provide insights on asset management.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in ServiceNow development with specific focus on SAM or HAM.
Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, AngularJS, and REST/SOAP APIs.
Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required. Additional certifications like ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist are preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IT Asset Management processes and best practices.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and capability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced Skills: Experience with advanced SAM or HAM configurations and customizations.
Integration Expertise: Proven ability to integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems.
Development Best Practices: Deep understanding of ServiceNow development best practices and mentoring capabilities.
