Prerequisites for the job role:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Process invoices, expense reports, and reimbursements
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, financial reports, and general ledger accounts
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements
- Manage cash flow and ensure adequate funds are available for business operations
- Liaise with external auditors and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Provide financial analysis and support to senior management as required
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
- Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives as required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
