SAP ABAP Developer

Overview :

We are looking for a skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with extensive experience in SAP ABAP and S/4 ABAP development. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing ABAP solutions to support key Finance processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and a collaborative mindset to deliver innovative, high-performance SAP solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Solution Design and Developmen t:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement SAP ABAP/S/4HANA solutions.
Develop custom ABAP programs, including required enhancements for S/4 ABAP, and create efficient workflows using SAP Workflow solutions.

2. System Support and Optimization :

Provide support for SAP system upgrades and module enhancements, ensuring optimal performance and system reliability.
Utilize performance tuning techniques to optimize ABAP code, including OData services and SOAP/REST-based web services.

3. Operational Troubleshooting :

Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to ensure smooth day-to-day system functionality.
Participate in on-call rotations for continuous support of critical business functions.

4. Documentation and Knowledge Transfer :

Create and maintain detailed documentation for database designs, coding standards, and processes.
Contribute to training materials for internal teams and stakeholders.

Key Qualifications :

Experience: 5 to 9 years in SAP ABAP and S/4 ABAP development, with familiarity in SD/PS/Finance modules.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in ABAP Objects (OOP principles), data dictionary, and interfaces. Expertise in CDS Views, AMDPs, SAP Gateway services, and Adobe Forms.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.

Preferred Skills :

Knowledge of SAP Fiori, Web IDE, and hybrid integration models.
Experience with cloud platforms and Agile methodologies is a plus.
